From Historic Chapel Hill:
"Set back from the street and below street level, the house is accessible only by a narrow path. It was constructed to face east, but is now accessible from the rear elevation, facing Cobb Terrace. The one-story, front-gabled house is two bays wide and triple-pile with plain weatherboards, replacement one-over-one windows, a 5V metal roof, and an interior brick chimney. The entrance, on the left (north) end of the west elevation, is obscured by a shed-roofed porch supported by square posts on a weatherboard-covered knee wall that has been enclosed with screens. County tax records date the building to 1927 and the building appears on the 1932 Sanborn map. In the 2015 survey, this was deemed a Contributing Building."
